That's right TMI fans! Cassandra Clare has just announced that Lily Collins will be playing Clary in the upcoming movie adaption of City of Bones. 

Cassandra Clare reported the following on her LJ:

"Just dropping an entry to announce that, as reported by Deadline, Lily Collins, who starred in The Blind Side and the upcoming Priest**, has been cast to play Clary in the movie adaptation of City of Bones. The producers and director have worked with her before and say great things, and I have to admit right now I haven't seen The Blind Side but am obviously going to go out and watch it NOW.

She is completely adorable and looks right for Clary to me."

So, now all we have to do is wait to see who will be cast next. Check back for more news!

German producer/distributor Constantin Film (3 Musketeers) is developing Cassandra Clare’s young adult urban fantasy trilogy Mortal Instruments with Unique Features and Sony Pictures' Screen Gems. Jessica Postigo’s script is based on the first novel in the series City of Bones which follows a teenage girl who realises that she has special powers when she joins a teen gang in a modern-day New York infested with werewolves, witches and warlocks. Clare has written on her blog that she’d like to see Emma Stone as the teenage heroine.

Cassie posted a new pannel from the upcoming TMI graphic novel on her LJ. She said that she doesn't have the release date for the graphic novel yet, but she wants to reassure us that it is still ongoing. Below is the excerpt from Cassie's LJ...

While I don't have a release date for the graphic novels at this time, I thought I'd share a panel just to reassure everyone it was still ongoing. This is Clary's dream, from p. 57 of City of Bones.

She saw her mother lying in a hospital bed, eyes like bruises in her white face. She saw Luke, standing atop a pile of bones. Jace with white feathered wings sprouting out of his back, Isabelle sit- ting naked with her whip curled around her like a net of gold rings, Simon with crosses burned into the palms of his hands. Angels, falling and burning. Falling out of the sky.
